2019-2020 - Skyline High School, Oakland, CA- Head Football Coach


  • Finished 2019 Season 2nd Seed with 9-3 record

  • 2019 Team GPA of 3.26

  • 2019 Silver Bowl Appearance

  • Undefeated at Home

  • Voted 2019 OUSD Coach of the Year

2015-2017 - Skyline High School, Oakland, CA- Head Football Coach


  • Defensive Backs Coach in 2015

  • 1st season as Head Coach in 2016

  • Head coach and Offensive Coordinator in 2017

  • Uplifted a broken program by immediately introducing program structure, standards, bonding, and excitement. Took student-athletes camping, hiking, family BBQ’s, college tours, college games, etc

  • Was able to lead 30 of my 34 players to over a 3.0 GPA in our first semester as head coach. Never been done in the last decade at Skyline. Implemented rigorous study hall hours, taught instructor communication skills, and also enforced seating chart rules for student athletes

  • Was able to establish relationships with local professional and collegiate Institutions by reaching out with baseline introduction letter and reaching out through social media outlets

  • 2016 and 2017 USA Football Equipment grant recipient

  • 2016 Coach of the Year runner-up

  • 2017 Oakland Section Coach of the Year, playoff appearance, 6-5 overall record

  • 3 Student-Athletes Awarded Full Athletic Scholarships to Division 1 and 2 Programs in 2017

  • Lead team through a coach being murdered and two player deaths in my two years by keeping players motivated and influenced by the mark those individuals left on us in the time they spent with the team. Also dedicating the seasons to those individuals for constant remembrance and motivation


  • Power Spread Offense with some under center, 21 and 22 personnel sets.

  • Special Teams heavy emphasis in my programs

  • 1st team all city cornerback, #11 Best Player in the Bay Area Cream of the Crop list, 2nd team all-metropolitan, Team defensive player of the year.

Junior College

Laney College, Oakland, CA 2007- Signed letter of intent to San Jose State

  • 2 year starting cornerback.


University of Toledo, Toledo, OH 2010- Completed Bachelors Degree and had Local 49er tryout.

  • Special team player of the week in win versus Michigan

  • Scholar-Baller Award with over a 3.3 GPA in consecutive semesters

  • Started 4 games at cornerback


Professional Experience

Jacksonville Youth Academy- Assistant Facility Administrator, 2018

  • Jacksonville, FL. Managed all facility operations as second in charge over a youth treatment based correctional facility. Substance abuse program for teenage boys, court ordered from different counties in the State of Florida

Skyline High School- Case Manager, 2016

  • Oakland, CA. Worked with a caseload of youth on campus who exposed a need for support in their academic trajectory and behavior control. Also supported on the climate and control team on campus in which used restorative justice practices to resolve issues around campus with students.

Fresh Lifelines for Youth (FLY)- Case Manager/Facilitator, 2015

  • Oakland, CA. Worked with a caseload of teens around Alameda County, CA in attempt to help them grow into law abiding citizens who will eventually become pro-social leaders in their network. Also taught law curriculum to secondary schools across the Bay Area, teaching youth their rights.

Youth Uprising- Career Coach/Education Coordinator, 2013

  • Served youth in the city of Oakland as as an employment and educational specialist. Helping youth with job leads and placement, college prep and trade school informational facilitation.

Youth Treatment Center- Residential Specialist II, 2011

  • Toledo, OH. Managed a group of teenage boys in a correctional setting in their day to day activities

Mission of Our Team:


Our football program is designed to produce student-athletes who can compete academically and athletically at the collegiate level. We develop this skill by implementing rigor study hall hours, partnering with support groups, and challenging the student-athlete on the field mentally and physically. We also work to establish brotherhood amongst our youth that will last a lifetime, by going above and beyond with team bonding. Lastly, implementing life skills into all teachings in the classroom and on the field.
